It's a controversy that will never be solved. Whether he is actually calling his home run here in this photo or not will be a mystery. On his next pitch, he hit a home run in a world series game.

New York Yankees
1920-1934
Babe's switch from Boston to New York also came with another big switch, from the position of pitcher to right field. At first it was frustrating, but came to be the biggest success in his career. He became the power hitter that everyone knows to this day. During his time with the Yankees he won four more World Series, totaling his championship rings to seven.
Boston Braves
1935
Wanting to become the Yankees manager this year, his wife talked him out of it. Early in the year of 1935, he decided to be traded to the new and upcoming Boston Braves. A newer franchise that was looking for a way to gain more revenue, and what better wat to do that then to get the world famous Babe Ruth.
Boston Red Sox
1914-1919
During his debut season with the Boston Red Sox Babe wasn't well known. He was the starting pitcher of the opening game, but was quickly moved down to the minor leagues for the remainder of the season. Later in his career with Boston he was a renowned pitcher. His best season was one of which he earned twenty-four wins, that being in 1917. During his time with the Red Sox he won three World Series Championships.
